Unlimited empty leg access. One flat price.

OpenJet is SkyShare’s annual empty-leg membership. When aircraft need to reposition for scheduled operations, members can request available flights that would otherwise operate without passengers. There is no base charter charge for an accepted OpenJet flight, although flight-specific incidentals may apply. Flights are operated under 14 C.F.R. Part 135 by FAA-certificated air carriers participating in the SkyShare program.

Both memberships follow the same booking process, Designated Individual requirements and incidental-expense policies. The difference is fleet access and annual price. OpenJet is $15,000 per year and provides access to available empty legs on the Pilatus PC-12, Citation CJ2, Citation Excel and Gulfstream G200. OpenJet+ is $30,000 per year and adds access to available Gulfstream G450 and Gulfstream GV empty legs.

OpenJet is best suited for flexible travelers who can adapt their dates, departure airports or destinations to available flights. If your itinerary is fixed or time-sensitive, SkyShare’s on-demand charter service may be a better fit. Many members use OpenJet when an available empty leg works for their schedule and charter when they need a specific itinerary.

OpenJet is $15,000 per year, while OpenJet+ is $30,000 per year. The membership fee is due when your membership begins and upon each annual renewal.

There is no base charter charge when you take an OpenJet flight as quoted. Members remain responsible for applicable flight-specific incidentals, which may include taxes, catering, landing and FBO fees, parking, deicing, ground transportation and international processing expenses. Requested itinerary changes may also result in additional costs, which will be disclosed before you accept an updated quote.
