SkyShare Achieves ARGUS Platinum Rating and IS-BAO Stage 1 Certification as Company Expands Fleet, Fractional Programs, and National Footprint

SkyShare, a leading provider of private aviation services and one of the fastest growing aviation companies in the western United States, today announced it has achieved both the prestigious ARGUS Platinum Rating along with IS-BAO Stage 1 Certification, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued commitment to safety, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

The certifications come during a period of rapid expansion for the Utah based company, which now manages 27 aircraft across its fractional ownership, charter and aircraft management divisions. SkyShare has grown to more than 180 employees, including approximately 80 full time pilots, while expanding its capabilities into the large cabin aircraft market through the addition of Gulfstream G450 and GV aircraft to its fleet.

The company recently launched its new SFX+ Gulfstream G450 fractional ownership program, bringing long range private aviation capabilities to individuals and businesses seeking greater flexibility, comfort, and access. Fractional shares in the Gulfstream G450 are currently available, and both the Gulfstream G450 and Gulfstream GV are available for charter services.

“Achieving ARGUS Platinum and IS-BAO represents a defining moment for SkyShare,” said Cory Bengtzen, Founder and CEO of SkyShare. “As we’ve grown our fleet, expanded our team, entered the heavy jet market, and launched new ownership opportunities through SFX+, our commitment to safety has remained at the center of every decision we make. These certifications validate the systems, training, and safety culture our team has worked tirelessly to build.”

The ARGUS Platinum Rating is among the most respected safety distinctions in business aviation. The designation is awarded following an extensive third party audit evaluating flight operations, maintenance programs, pilot qualifications, regulatory compliance, training standards, and overall organizational safety practices.

Developed by the International Business Aviation Council, IS-BAO, or the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations, is a globally recognized framework designed to help operators establish and maintain effective safety management systems and operational best practices. Stage I Registration recognizes the implementation of a comprehensive safety management foundation that proactively identifies and manages operational risk.

“Independent validation matters,” Bengtzen added. “Whether someone is purchasing a fractional share, chartering an aircraft, or trusting us to manage a multimillion dollar aviation asset, they deserve confidence that safety is embedded into every aspect of our operation. These achievements reinforce that commitment.”

In addition to its aircraft operations, SkyShare owns and operates fixed base operations at Salt Lake City South Valley Regional Airport (SVR) and Gnoss Field Airport (DVO) in Marin County, California. Headquartered at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), the company also maintains operational bases in Ogden, Utah, supporting its growing charter, management, and fractional ownership operations throughout the western United States. SkyShare’s integrated platform includes aircraft ownership solutions, charter services, aircraft management, maintenance, and FBO operations, allowing the company to deliver a seamless private aviation experience for clients nationwide.

The certifications further strengthen SkyShare’s position as it continues to expand its national presence and invest in fleet growth, operational infrastructure, and customer service capabilities.

“These accomplishments are a direct reflection of our people,” said Bengtzen. “Our pilots, technicians, customer service teams, and support staff have built an organization capable of delivering world class aviation services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety. We are excited about the future and the opportunities ahead as we continue to grow.”
