On September 11, 2024, SkyShare hosted an event entitled “Flight & Freedom” at the SkyShare Jet Center at the Ogden Airport (KOGD), remembering the anniversary of 9/11 while simultaneously celebrating the intersection of aviation and freedom. The exclusive, RSVP-only event, attended by 100+ VIP guests, showcased the latest models of private aircraft from leading manufacturers such as Gulfstream, Pilatus,

Embraer, Textron, and Cirrus. Attendees had the opportunity to privately tour aircraft like the Gulfstream G500, Citation CJ4, the Phenom 300, Phenom 100, Pilatus PC-12 NGX, Cirrus Vision Jet, etc., as well as SkyShare’s brokerage and fractional aircraft including PC-12’s and Citation Excels.

In cooperation with commemorative non-profit Tunnels To Towers Foundation that directs proceeds to first responders, the event also provided a relaxed environment for guests to consult with aircraft manufacturers, tax accountants, and aviation professionals from all facets (from maintenance experts to highly experienced lead captains) about private flight ownership, while enjoying light refreshments, food trucks, and an open bar. Guests explored a static display of eVTOL aircraft, vintage planes, including rotary helicopters.

A highlight of the day was a presentation by world-renowned astronaut Charlie Precourt, offering insights into space exploration, along with a heartfelt tribute honoring the heroes and victims of 9/11. Guests also engaged in discussions with flight instructors and even had the chance to schedule a discovery flight, marking a day of inspiration and connection for the local flight community.
