SkyShare cuts entry-level fractional prices by 41%

SkyShare was recently featured in an article by Doug Gollan at Private Jet Card Comparisions, in a feature on our announcement of a new offering in our fractional ownership program designed to make private aviation more accessible than ever. Founder and CEO Cory Bengtzen shared that our latest offerings address the needs of people and businesses eager to experience the benefits of private flight at a more affordable price point.

One of our most anticipated updates is the introduction of SFX-12, a Pilatus PC-12-only program tailored for those seeking flexible and economical access to private aviation. With SFX-12, clients can choose from a range of options, starting with 20 days for a 1/16th share and up to 80 days for a 1/4 share. Designed for customers throughout the western U.S., this program begins at $2,700 per hour for one-way flights, reducing the entry cost by 41% compared to previous offerings. This addition aligns with our mission to bring private flight within reach for entrepreneurs and executives who once saw cost as a significant hurdle.

“When we launched our SFX+ program in April, we knew we were revolutionizing private flight. However, we realized we were only scratching the surface of our goal to make private flights more accessible. SFX-12 saves around one million dollars compared to our closest industry competitor. Our innovative approach is a game-changer for people and businesses looking to take advantage of private flights at a much more attractive price point.”

Additionally, we’ve rebranded our existing SFX program as SFX-Jet, which now offers guaranteed access to a premium fleet, including Citation CJ2s, Excels, and Gulfstream G200s. For those seeking the ultimate flexibility, our SFX+ program, based on fractional ownership in a preowned G450, provides guaranteed access to the entire fleet, including our PC-12s.

These enhancements to our fractional offerings arrive during a dynamic shift in the Western U.S. private aviation market, with changes in service offerings from providers like Wheels Up and PlaneSense. We’re excited to offer more accessible entry points and meet the demand for tailored, cost-effective flight options.

About SkyShare
SkyShare is a charter and fractional ownership company based in Ogden, Utah. The company offers three different ways to fly privately: fractional ownership, flight management, and full ownership. It also charters flights for customers utilizing its large fleet of aircraft. These options are offered to assist clients who may be new to flying privately or to clients who want the ultimate flexibility when flying.

Over the past year, SkyShare has continued to make significant strides that have contributed to its continuous growth. This includes the introduction of an industry-first financing option for its fractional ownership program. This can lower the initial cost of entering the private aviation industry by up to 1/16 of full fractional ownership costs.

Additionally, SkyShare recently announced its inclusion in the 2024 Inc. 5000, which lists the fastest-growing companies in the United States, as it has for the past four years. Along with this, SkyShare was included in the Utah 100 for the fourth consecutive year. These have helped contribute to the company’s overall growth, which has a growth margin listed at 258% over the past three years.
